Selecting Discover enables you to inspect your data in many different ways. For example, you can:
Searches the current, or most recent version of all files, which are those that exist in the most recent DiscoveryPoint for a virtual machine. See Search Tab.
Provides a system-wide view of your data, for example, the most active users, the users who consume the most space, and files that are dormant. See Insights Tab.
Enables you to view user activity. This tab provides tracking information about all users on a particular VM, enables you to filter the information in various ways, and also enables you to export tracking information to specific file formats. See Activity Tracking Tab.
Provides access to the Insight Management tab. This tab enables you to manage the CloudAdvisorInsight Policies. The tab contains three main views – Policies, Profiles and Tags. Using the Policies view, you can add, edit, or delete Insight Policies for use by different targets. Using the Profiles view, you can add, edit, or delete Insight Profiles for use by different targets. Using the Tags view, you can create custom intelligence tags that you can include in various Insight Profiles. For more information, see Insight Management Tab.
Lets you create an Executive Summary report that provides an overview of CloudAdvisor and the VMs that CloudAdvisor is monitoring. See Manage Reports Tab.
