Manage Reports Tab

The Manage Reports tab lets you create and view executive summary reports for the VMs in your CloudAdvisor inventory. To access this tab from the Home tab, select Discover > Reports. .

You can create a new report by clicking Create Report and entering a Report Name, output file name, and optional description.

For existing reports, you can use the icons at the end of each row to preview the report or download it as a PDF file or a JPEG graphic file.

The executive summary report contains:

• Basic details about the system, such as the time period covered, the number of users discovered, the number of VMs being monitored and the number of files analyzed.
• A graph showing the risk level based on whether CloudAdvisor has found sensitive data in the monitored VMs.
• A breakdown of the tags found in the data and the number of files containing potential passwords.
• The users who own or access files with sensitive data.
• Data demographics such as file counts by category, file distribution by size, and the top 5 users that use the most storage space and who own the largest number of files.
