User Activity Tab

The User Activity tab for a VM summarizes a particular user's activities on a specific VM. To access this tab, click a user name in the Most Active Users tile on any VM Details Tab.

The User Activity tab includes the following tiles:

• Activities Tile - Provides a color-coded summary of the user's activities on the selected VM. The relative size of the color blocks are based on the relative number of file operations of that type.

  This tile displays information for the currently selected VM. It does not show aggregate information for all VMs in the CloudAdvisor inventory.

• Recent Activities Tile - Provides a list of recent user activities (file reads, updates, and deletes) on the selected VM. For any file in this tab, you can click the link in the File Path column to view the File Details Tab.

  To view the full list of user activity on this VM, or to export the activity list as a csv or tsv file, expand this tile to view the full Activities view.

• Usage Summary Tile - Provides a usage summary for the user over time. This information includes the VM specific information for the total file space consumed by the user, the total number of files owned by the user, and a usage breakout of file activities (file creates, reads, updates, or deletes) over time.

• Top Collaborators Tile - Provides information about user-specific collaboration with other users across the selected VM.
