Delete Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Snapshots

Cryptographic Security Platform Vault automatically creates a pre-upgrade snapshot whenever you upgrade to a newer version of Cryptographic Security Platform Vault. If you plan to increase your VM storage, you must delete any snapshots first.

Important: If you delete the pre-upgrade snapshots, you cannot revert your upgrade to the previous installed version. See Revert to Previous Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Version.

1. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault VM console as htadmin.

   Cryptographic Security Platform Vault displays the Entrust Cryptographic Security Platform Vault System Console TUI (Text-based User Interface).

2. Select Manage Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Node.
3. In the Manage the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Node page, select Delete Cryptographic Security Platform Vault pre-upgrade snapshot.
4. In the confirmation screen, select Yes.

The snapshot is deleted, and there will be an audit message when it is complete.
