If Active Directory is not working on a tenant where it is enabled, the tenant administrator will no longer be able to log in. The tenant manager can use the Rescue Tenant feature to reset the tenant back to local authentication and send a temporary password to the tenant administrator.

  1. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI with your standard account credentials.

  2. On the Tenants page, use your mouse to hover over the tenant that you want to modify and select Edit.

  3. On the Edit Tenant page, click Rescue.

  4. In the Rescue Tenant window, select Yes, Reset Authentication.

The tenant is reset to local authentication, and the URL, user name, and temporary password is sent to the tenant administrator.

Note: If email notifications is set to Off, you will need to see and give the information to the tenant administrator.
