The htrestricted account provides read-only access to debug Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager.

Enabling the Support User

  1. Log in to the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager as htadmin.
  2. Select Manage Accounts.
  3. Select htrestricted (read only support access).
  4. Select Yes to enable the htrestricted account.
  5. Enter and confirm a password for the Entrust support user.

    The password must be at least 8 characters long and must include at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one digit, and one symbol.

    Note: The password is only valid for 24 hours. The account is automatically disabled after 24 hours, or you can disable it when no longer needed.

  6. Exit the console, and then log back in as htrestricted with the password that you created. You can also use an ssh client.

Entrust Support can now assist you further.

Disabling the Support User

The htrestricted user password will automatically expire in 24 hours. You can disable the support user at any time before that.

  1. Log in to the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager as htadmin.
  2. Select Manage Accounts.
  3. Select htrestricted(read only support access).
  4. Select Yes to disable the htrestricted account.
