After you have created the default tenant, you can create additional tenants. These tenants will not be able to connect to the Discovery or KeySafe5 applications unless you change the default tenant.
Note: If you log in to the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager using an FQDN, then all tenants that you create will use the FQDN in the tenant URL. If you log in from a standard IP address, then the tenants that you create will use the IP address in the tenant URL.
Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI with your standard account credentials.
On the Tenants page, click Create Tenant.
Enter the name of the tenant and an optional description to help identify the tenant.
Choose whether you want to use email notifications.
Important: If SMTP is not enabled in Cryptographic Security Platform Appliance Management, you will not be able to use email notifications in Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager. If you cannot use email, you will need to see and give the following information to the Tenant Administrator:
Tenant URL
User Name
Temporary Password
Enter the Admin Name and Admin Email for the user who will have complete access and control over the tenant. This user is the Tenant Administrator. The tenant administrator will be responsible for inviting additional members.
Click Create Tenant.
The tenant is created, and one of the following occurs:
With Email—If email notification is enabled, the administrator of the new tenant will be sent an email with a unique URL and a temporary password to log into their site. The tenant creator will not have access to the site, only the URL which will be located in the tenant details for future reference.
Without Email—If email notification is not enabled, the tenant creator will need to send the administrator of the new tenant all of the details that are required to log in. Only the URL is stored in the tenant details section, but nothing prevents the creator from retaining the information.
