If you want to access an existing backup file, you can use the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI or, if you have configured an NFS server, you can use NFS. The following sections describe how to access the backup file through the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI and NFS.

Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI Access

  1. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI with your standard account credentials.
  2. In the top right, click the Switch to Appliance Management link.
  3. Click the Switch to Appliance Management link.
  4. In the top menu bar, click Cluster. .
  5. Go to the Cluster tab.
  6. Select Actions > Backup. Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager displays the latest backup information if one exists.
  7. Click Download. Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager saves the encrypted backup file to your browser's default download location. The filename is in the format <server-name>-<product_version><-datetimestamp>-<admin_key_version>.bu.

  8. Click Close.

NFS Access

To access the backup file through NFS, log into one of the Backup Host servers configured for the cluster and mount the directory using the mount command. For example, if your Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager node IP address is 192.168.140.135, you would enter:

# mount -t nfs 192.168.140.135:/hcs/backup /backup
# ls -l /backup
total 506
