Snapshot Schedules Tab
The Snapshot Schedule tab lets you add, edit, and delete your custom Snapshot Schedules. A Snapshot Schedule defines how often CloudAdvisor requests a snapshot be created for each associated VM by the VM's virtualization manager. After the virtualization manager creates the snapshot, CloudAdvisor creates a corresponding DiscoveryPoint. For details, see Snapshot Schedules and DiscoveryPoints .
To access this tab from the Home tab, select System > Snapshot Schedules.
If you want to:
- View an out-of-the-box Snapshot Schedule or edit a custom Snapshot Schedule, click on the name of the schedule. CloudAdvisor displays details about the Snapshot Schedule in the pop-up Snapshot Schedule dialog box. If you click on a custom schedule, you can use this dialog box to change the name of the schedule and the frequency with which it requests snapshots from the associated virtualization manager.
- Create a new Snapshot Schedule, click the + (Add New) button and specify the required information. For details, see Creating a Custom Snapshot Schedule.
- Delete one or more custom Snapshot Schedules, click on the selection box associated with the schedules you want to delete and then click the Trashcan (Delete) button.
