Managing Files

The File Details Tab provides a quick overview of a specific file on a specific VM over time. You access the File Details tab by selecting a file in any number of places in CloudAdvisor (for example, in a list of search results or from a DiscoveryPoint catalog).

Using the File Details tab you can:

Review file activity over time and identify the top users.
Download or restore a file if there is a snapshot associated with it.
Determine who has been reading or modifying a file.
Review sensitive data in a file (for example, social security numbers or credit card information).
Review recent activities performed on a file.
