The Dormant Data tile provides information about file inactivity. This tile shows the space consumed by files that have not been accessed or modified since the specified time interval.
Tile Information
| Content | Description |
|---|---|
| Consumed space value | Total amount of space (in Gigabytes [GB]) consumed by files in the specified age range. |
| Consumed space bar | Graphical representation of the consumed space relative to other consumed space values provided in the tile. If this tile displays the data for a specific VM, you can click one of the bars to view the data in a standard search display window. For details, see Analyzing Dormant Data. |
| Age range | Amount of time a file has not been read or modified. Categories are listed as greater than (>) 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months. |
