Analyzing File Distribution by File Size

File Distribution views provide search results output for specific file size range categories that you choose from the File Distribution by Size tile in the Insights tab.

The File Distribution view is essentially a faceted search results view that is constrained to provide only search results for the selected file size range category. The functions in a File Distribution view are identical to the functions found in other search results views. For more information, see Using Search Results Views.

To open a File Distribution view:

1. From the Home tab, select Discover > Insights.

2. Click a VM in the Insights summary.

3. Click a tag bar or file value from the File Distribution by Size tile.
