Managing Vaults

KeyControl administrators create vaults and the configured vaults are shown on the Vault Management dashboard.

For each new vault, the KeyControl administrator specifies the vault type, vault name, and the vault administrator. See Creating a Vault.

The vault administrator is sent the details needed to access and configure the vault, including the vault security and policies.

If a vault administrator gets locked out of a vault, the KeyControl administrator can 'rescue' the vault, allowing the vault administrator to log back into the vault using local credentials. See Rescuing a Vault.
