About Security Objects

All objects contained within your vaults are called security objects. For each security object, KeyControl Compliance Manager tracks the following information: 

  • Object Name—The name of the security object.

  • Collection—The name of the collection that contains the vault where the security object is located.

  • Vault—The name of the vault that contains the security object.

  • Status—The status of the security object. This can be one of the following: 

    • Available

    • Preactive

    • Deactivated

    • Disabled

  • Documented—Whether or not the security object has documentation. This can be one of the following:

    • Documented—A documentation template has been assigned to the security object and it is completed.

    • Not Documented—A documentation template has been assigned to the security object, but it is not completed.

    • No Template—No documentation template has been assigned to the security object.

  • Compliance—Whether or not the security object has been assessed by a compliance policy.

    • Compliant—The security object has been assessed and is compliant.

    • Not Compliant—The security object has been assessed and is not compliant.

    • Unassessed—The security object has not been assessed.

  • Age—The age of the security object in days.

  • Risk—The risk score of the object.
