Configuring UEFI Secure Boot in Ubuntu

To configure UEFI Secure Boot in Ubuntu, you need to install the driver package using dpkg -i /opt/hcs/drivers/htcrypt-dkms_<buildver>_all.deb.

If the dkms has not created any Machine-Owner key(MOK) in the system, the installation process should prompt you to create a new MOK, and will guide you through the steps to enroll that key in your system's firmware. This process requires a reboot.

Note: Since the MOK enrolling process requires user interaction and a reboot, the KeyControl htcrypt installation process will fail if the secure boot is enabled on the ubuntu VM and no MOK is created by the dkms. You will receive an alert to try it manually.
