Delete KeyControl Snapshots

KeyControl automatically creates a pre-upgrade snapshot whenever you upgrade to a newer version of KeyControl. If you plan to increase your VM storage, you must delete any snapshots first.

Important: If you delete the pre-upgrade snapshots, you cannot revert your upgrade to the previous installed version. See Revert to Previous KeyControl Version.

1. Log into the KeyControl VM console as htadmin .

   KeyControl displays the HyTrust KeyControl System Console TUI (Text-based User Interface).

2. Select Manage KeyControl Node.
3. In the Manage the KeyControl Node page, select Delete KeyControl pre-upgrade snapshot.
4. In the confirmation screen, select Yes.

The snapshot is deleted, and there will be an audit message when it is complete.
