Delete KeyControl Vault Snapshots

KeyControl Vault automatically creates a pre-upgrade snapshot whenever you upgrade to a newer version of KeyControl Vault. If you plan to increase your VM storage, you must delete any snapshots first.

Important: If you delete the pre-upgrade snapshots, you cannot revert your upgrade to the previous installed version. See Revert to Previous KeyControl Vault Version.

1. Log into the KeyControl Vault VM console as htadmin.

   KeyControl Vault displays the Entrust KeyControl System Console TUI (Text-based User Interface).

2. Select Manage KeyControl Vault Node.
3. In the Manage the KeyControl Vault Node page, select Delete KeyControl Vault pre-upgrade snapshot.
4. In the confirmation screen, select Yes.

The snapshot is deleted, and there will be an audit message when it is complete.
