Enabling the KeySafe5 Agent

You need to enable the KeySafe5 agent in the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Appliance before you can use it.

Before You Begin 

• Ensure that an nShield HSM is properly configured in your Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Appliance. For more information, see Configuring Cryptographic Security Platform Vault as an HSM Client using an nShield HSM.

• Ensure that your Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Appliance webGUI is connected to the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager as an Appliance Cluster. For more information, see Connecting Cryptographic Security Platform Vault and Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager.

Procedure 

1. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault Management webGUI using an account with Security Admin privileges.
2. In the top right, click the Switch to Appliance Management link.
3. In the top menu bar, click Settings.
4. In the System Settings section, click HSM Server Settings.

5. On the nShield HSM Server Settings page, set the KeySafe5 Agent to Enable.

6. Click Apply.

7. Navigate to the Compliance Manager page where you connected to the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI and click Sync Now.
