System templates cannot be modified, however you can save them as a new template under a different name.
Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI with your standard account credentials.
In the side menu bar, select Documentation.
On the Templates page, select the template that you want to modify.
On the template page, click Edit Template.
On the template page, you can now add or remove metadata, edit fields, or delete fields.
Note: If a field is referenced by a compliance policy, you cannot edit the field.
Click Reorder Fields to change the order that the fields are listed in.
Click Add Field to add a new field to the template.
If the template is a System template, click Save As and enter the new name and optional description of the template, then click Save.
If the template is not a system template, you can click Save to update the template with the existing name, or Save As to change the name.
Click Cancel to exit without saving.
