If the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager does not have direct access to the internet, you can configure an HTTP proxy server. 

  1. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI with with Security Admin privileges.
  2. In the top right, click the Switch to Appliance Management link.
  3. In the top menu bar, click Settings.
  4. In the System Settings section, click Proxy Settings.

  5. On the Proxy Settings page, specify the following: 

    • On the Basic tab, enter the IP/Hostname and the port number for the HTTP proxy server.
    • On the Advanced tab, optionally enter the username and password for the HTTP proxy server.

    Note: If your HTTP proxy server is configured without authorization, then you do not need to enter a username and password. We recommend that you use authentication.

  6. When you are finished, click Apply.
