Documentation templates contain information that helps you identify and run compliance reports against your cryptographic assets.

  1. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI with your standard account credentials.

  2. In the side menu bar, select Documentation.

  3. Click the Create Template button.

  4. In the Create Template window, enter the name of the template. This name can be modified later.

  5. Enter an optional description to help identify the template.

  6. Select the category type that will be included in the template.

    The Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager takes you to the Templates page for your new template.
    On the Templates page, you can add metadata and user input fields to help identify the cryptographic assets.
  7. In the Metadata field, select the metadata that you would like to add to the template. Click x to remove any metatdata that you do not want to use.

  8. Click Add Field.

  9. Choose one of the following: 

    • Browse Catalog—Choose an existing field from the catalog and modify it to meet your specifications.

    • Custom Field—Create the fields you want from the provided options.

  10. Follow the on screen instructions to create or modify your fields.
  11. Click Add to add the field and create an additional field, or Add & Close to add the field and close the window.

  12. When you have finished adding all of your fields, click Save.
