Adding an Appliance Cluster

Appliance clusters are the nodes for the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault appliance. If you want to add an individual vault, for example, the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault for KMIP, select Data Sources from the side menu bar.

1. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager webGUI with your standard account credentials.

2. In the side menu bar, select Appliance Clusters.

3. Select Actions > Initialize Connection.

4. On the Initialize Connection to a Cluster page, enter the IP Address for one of the nodes of a Cryptographic Security Platform Vault.

5. Click Create and Download File.

   The Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager downloads a file in .JSON format that will be used to connect to your appliance cluster.

   Important: This file should be considered a password. Please save it in a safe location in case you need to reconnect the same appliance cluster.

6. Log into the Cryptographic Security Platform Vault that you created the connection to.

7. At the top of the page, you will see a warning that you are not connected to Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager. Click Connect Now.

8. Click Connect and upload the JSON file that you downloaded from Cryptographic Security Platform Compliance Manager.

9. Click Close to close the Connect CSP Compliance Manager window.
