VMware Tanzu Prerequisites
Note: Supported versions are listed in the Entrust CloudControl Release Notes.
-
To add VMware Tanzu clusters, you must have the SSO administrator role and read/write privilege on the Tanzu clusters.
-
CloudControl uses a kubeconfig generated with the SSO admin user to add clusters.
-
CloudControl needs the password for the user to refresh the authorization token.
-
-
The VMware Tanzu-embedded Harbor registry is not supported with CloudControl. You must use the open source Harbor registry. A user with admin privileges is required to add the registry to CloudControl.
Important:
-
If you plan to use Configuration Hardening with VMware Tanzu, you must run your Tanzu Kubernetes cluster on a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) infrastructure using NSX-T. For more information, see Using Configuration Hardening with VMware Tanzu Kubernetes.
-
For the VMware Tanzu supervisor/management cluster, CloudControl does not support access control or configuration hardening.
