Overview of the Installation Steps
Installing and configuring CloudControl requires the following tasks:

Ensure that your environment meets the basic system requirements. |

If you plan to use Active Directory, create a service account with the proper permissions. |

Deploy CloudControl as a VMware vSphere virtual machine, and confirm that the network adapter(s) are properly configured and connected. |

Power on the CloudControl virtual machine. |

Determine whether you want to use a standalone node or cluster, and then configure the virtual appliance. |

Run the setup wizard in the CloudControl GUI. |

If you are going to use a cluster, and created the primary node for a one-node cluster, then create the secondary node. For more information about clusters in CloudControl, see About CloudControl Clusters. |
