Modifying your Email Settings
Your SMTP and email information settings are configured during installation. You can modify them at any time.

From the Home tab, select System > System Settings.
- On the System Settings page, select Settings > Email.
- On the Email page, select ON or OFF to enable SMTP.

Modify the following as necessary:
Field Description SMTP Server Name or IP Address The name of the SMTP server used by email or its IP address.
The name or IP address can be from 2-255 characters and cannot include spaces or the following special characters:
, ~ : ! @ # $ % ^ & ’ ( ) [ ] { }
Port The TCP Port that the SMTP server uses for communication. The default is port 25.
Sender The email address from which the system sends email.
The email address can be from 1-255 characters, and cannot include spaces.
Security
Select one of the following:
None—Use no security for your SMTP server. This is the default.
SSL—Use SSL for your SMTP server.
TLS—Use TLS for your SMTP server.
User Name
Enter the username for the SMTP server.
Password
Enter the password for the SMTP server.
Re-enter Password
Re-enter the password for the SMTP server.
- If you want to verify the connection, click Test.
- Click Save.
