System Requirements

CloudControl requires the following: 

• Enterprise Editions of VMware vSphere, from vSphere 6.0 to 6.7.
• ESXi, from 6.0 to 6.7. This includes ESXi and NSX hosts, vCenter Server, and vSphere Web Client Server.

ESXi Host Requirements

Note:

The ESXi host and HyTrust CloudControl virtual machine requirements depend on the specific load of the virtual environment to be protected.

Browser Requirements

The CloudControl Management Console requires HTTPS access and has been tested on the following browsers: 

• Internet Explorer version 11 and above
• Firefox 65 and above
• Chrome 72 and above

Trust Attestation Service (TAS) Requirements

TAS requires the following: 

• An Enterprise or appropriate evaluation license.

• Hardware and BIOS with Intel TXT support.

• Trusted Platform Module (TPM) enabled in BIOS.

• A TAS server set up and configured to verify trust of Intel TXT hosts.

• The CloudControl service account for vCenter used for TAS must use a password that does not contain a comma (,) or a colon (:).

TAS Host requirements:

• The host must be protected by CloudControl.

• The host must be an ESXi host 6.0 or greater.

• ESXi hosts must be managed by vCenter version 6.0 or greater.
