Configuring the Management Console
The first time you launch the Management Console, you need to configure it.
-
Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the CloudControl Management network interface.
Note: - The first time you access the CloudControl Management Console, you must use the IP address. You can create a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) during installation.
- Because CloudControl initially ships with a self-signed certificate, the first time you start the CloudControl Management Console, you will receive a security exception. Manually allow the security exception. In some customer environments, additional modifications to the IE security settings or firewall settings within your corporate network may be required.
- SSL certificates issued by a trusted authority can be imported at a later time through the CloudControl Management Console.
-
Enter the default login username (superadminuser) and password (Pa$$w0rd123!) to log into the system and click Login.
Note: The password cannot be changed for users in demo mode. -
In the End-User License agreement page, read and accept the terms of the end-user license agreement (EULA).
