Defining Slack Notifier Settings

CloudAdvisor allows you to send notifications to a Slack channel or user to inform the system administrator of an event that matches Insight Policy criteria. You can configure the default Slack channel Webhook URL in the Slack Notifier view from the Settings drop-down menu in the System Management tab. For details, see Insight Management Tab.

To define the slack notifier Webhook URL:

1. From the Home tab, select System > System Settings.
2. From the System Management tab, select Settings >Slack Notifier.

3. Enter the Webhook URL in the following format: https://hooks.slack.com/services/T00000000/B00000000/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

4. Click Save.
