The Network Interfaces view shows the interfaces configured for management traffic and data traffic.
The following table describes the columns that appear in the Network Interfaces view.

| Checkbox | Enables you to select one or more interfaces for editing or deleting. |
| IP Address | IP address for each configured interface. |
| Subnet Mask | Network mask that determines subnet to which each IP address belongs. |
| Default Gateway |
IP address of the default gateway for the public address. |
| MTU |
Configured MTU size (in bytes) for the interface. |

This can be:

| State | State of each interface. This field is empty during the Setup procedure. Once Setup completes, each interface changes to the "Created" state. |
In the Network Interfaces view, click the Add button.
In the Configure Network Interface dialog box, specify the following properties:

IP address (in dotted decimal notation) for CIFS/SMB, NFS, and iSCSI client access. This IP address must must be on a different subnet than the Default interface defined when the system was initially configured. |

| Default Gateway | None | IP address (in dotted decimal notation) of the default gateway for the data interface. |
| MTU | 1500 | MTU size (in bytes) for the data interface. |
Click Create.
You can edit any data access interfaces at any time.
In the Network Interfaces view, click the check box next to the interface that you want to modify.
| Note: | You can modify only one network interface at a time. If you select more than one network interface for modification, only the delete button becomes active. |
Click the Edit button.
Click Apply.
| Note: | You must have at least one data interface for client access. |
In the Network Interfaces view, click the check box next to the interface that you want to delete.
Click the Delete button.
Confirm the deletion at the prompt.
