Date and Time Tab

To ensure that time is synchronized across your network, you should use the same NTP servers for CloudAdvisor that you use for:

Note: As time servers can be inaccessible from time to time, we recommend that you specify three time servers to provide time server access redundancy.

To configure the CloudAdvisor system date and time:

  1. From the Home tab, select System > System Settings.
  2. On the System Management tab, select Settings > Date & Time.

  3. Specify the following properties:

    Field Name Description
    Time Zone A time zone on the map or in the drop-down list.
    NTP Servers

    IP address or fully-qualified domain name of one or more time servers.

    Cannot include spaces or these special characters:

    ,~:!@#$%^&’()[]{}

    Example: ca.pool.ntp.org (Canada), us.pool.ntp.org (US)

  4. (Optional) Click Test to verify the configuration.

    CloudAdvisor verifies connectivity to the NTP servers.

  5. Click Save to save any changes.
