VM Details Tile Full View

Expanding the VM Details tile or selecting Views > VM Details shows additional information about the VM. When viewing VM Details, keep the following mind:

The following table provides descriptions for all content including backup provider specific content descriptions.

Content Description
Remote Backup Job For VMs accessed through a backup provider, the name of the Veeam backup job.
Start Policy For VMs accessed through a backup provider, the time at which the VM will begin discovering Veeam backup jobs.
End Policy For VMs accessed through a backup provider, the time at which the VM will stop discovering Veeam backup jobs (options include Ongoing or Custom).
Name Name of the virtual machine.
Platform The platform on which the VM is running.
CloudAdvisor Discovery Tools

Field that indicates if CloudAdvisor Discovery Tools is installed and up to date. If CloudAdvisor Discovery Tools is installed on the VM, the version number is displayed. The warning icon indicates there is an upgrade available or CloudAdvisor Discovery Tools is not installed on the VM. Click the version number to upgrade or click Install Now to install the latest version of CloudAdvisor Discovery Tools. See Managing CloudAdvisor Discovery Tools.

Activity Status Indicates whether activities are evaluated in real time or at the time of DiscoveryPoints. If CloudAdvisor Discovery Tools is not installed, the status displays as "Not Available". The description "Activities at DiscoveryPoints" indicates that activities are not being evaluated in Real Time as intended and are being evaluated at DiscoveryPoints instead.
VM UUID on Hypervisor Host Unique virtual machine identifier assigned by the hypervisor host.
Virtual CPU Count CPU configuration of the VM on the server.
VM Disk Count Number of virtual machine disks associated with the VM.
Max Memory Allowed (GB) Maximum amount of memory allocated for this virtual machine.
Guest OS Type Operating system type used on the virtual machine.
Guest State The current state of the VM, if available. For example, Powered On or Powered Off.
Host Name Name of the host server on which the VM is running.
Hosting Datastore Name Name of the datastore that is hosting the VM files.
Path on Host The path to the virtual machine files on the hosting datastore or iSCSI LUN.
Used Storage Space (GB) Total amount of storage space used by the virtual machine.
