Updating a Backup Discovery Policy

The Update Backup Discovery Policy option enables you to modify the backup job assigned to the VM.

1. Select Actions > Update Backup Discovery Policy.

2. In the Backup Discovery Policy dialog box, modify any of the following properties:

   Field Name	Description
   End Policy	Interval at which you want to stop discovering backups. Possible options include Ongoing or Custom.
   Custom End Policy	This field is only required if a Custom End Policy is selected and allows you to select a date for the end policy.
   Backup Job	Name of the backup job assigned to the VM.
   Latest	Date and time of the most recent restore point (in the format yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss).
   Oldest	Date and time of the oldest restore point (in the format yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss).
   Restore Points	Number of restore points in the backup job.
   Filter	Filter bar enabling you to filter the backup job output. You can filter using any combination of Backup Job, Latest, Oldest, and Restore Points.

3. Click Apply.
