Selecting the User option from the Search Builder drop-down menu in the Search tab displays a qualifier menu and a text bar for use in the user search.
When adding a User term to a search, keep the following in mind:
To add a User term to the search bar:
Click inside the search bar.
Select Add Search Option > User.
Select the desired qualifier from the menu and enter a user name in the Select user field.
Menu Option | Description |
---|---|
owner | Default selection. Enables you to search for files where the specified user is the owner of the file. |
reader | Enables you to search for files where the specified user has read the file. |
writer | Enables you to search for files where the specified user has modified (written to) the file. |
Click Add.
The Search Builder adds the textual equivalent of your selections to the search bar and automatically reruns the search.
