Using the File Properties Search Option

Selecting the File property option from the Search Builder drop-down menu in the the Search tab displays a qualifier menu and text bar for use in the file property search.

When using the file property option in a search, keep the following in mind:

CloudAdvisor searches file property values; it does not search file content.
Fie properties are analyzed text fields. For example, if the Author property is "John Doe", you can search the property by John, Doe, or "John Doe."
If you change the search target selection, CloudAdvisor automatically updates the search output results.

File properties are file-specific metadata. The following table provides information about each predefined file property term.

File Property	Description
Album	Name of the album that contains a song.
Artist	Name of the artist that contributed to a song.
Author	The name of the author of a file.
BitDepth	Bit depth of a audio or video file.
BitRate	Bit rate of a auido or video file.
Category	Category of a file.
ColorSpace	RGB range of colors in an image file.
Company	Company name associated with a file.
CreationDate	Date the file was created.
Dimensions	Dimensions of an image or video file.
Encoder	Video encoder used in a file.
FileVersion	Version of a file.
Format	Format of a file.
FrameRate	Video frame rate, in frames per second.
Genre	Name of music genre that a song belongs to.
Height	Height of an image or video in pixels.
hasLocationData	Determines if a file has GPS location data associated with it.
lang	Language that is specified for the file.
Length	Length of an image or video file.
PageCount	Number of pages in the document.
ProductVersion	Version of a product in string format.
Publisher	Name of a video's publisher.
Resolution	Resolution of an image or video file.
RevisionNumber	Revision number of an update in a file.
SamplingRate	The sampling rate of output audio, in Hz.
SlideCount	Number of slides in the document.
Source	Source of a file.
Subject	Subject of a file.
Title	Title of a file.
VersionNumber	Version number of a file.
Width	Width of an image or video in pixels.
Year	Year a file was created.

To add a file property term to the search bar:

Click inside the search bar.
Select Add Search Option > File property.
Select the desired file property and any qualifiers from the menu.
Click Add.

The Search Builder adds the textual equivalent of your selections to the search bar and automatically reruns the search.
