Modifying a Saved Search

Once saved, you can modify saved searches from the Saved Search drop-down menu. When modifying saved searches, keep the following in mind:

• You can add or remove search terms or any tags a search uses within any saved searches. However, you cannot change the saved search name.
• You can modify saved searches only when they are selected. You must first select and re-run a saved search before you can modify it.
• Changes made to the search bar in a saved search are implemented dynamically.
• When using saved searches in the Search tab, changes made to any filter facets in a saved search are implemented dynamically.

• If you change the search target selection, CloudAdvisor automatically updates the search output results.

To modify a saved search:

1. Click the Saved Searches drop-down menu.

   Saved searches can appear in two different categories—private or public. Public saved searches are accessible to everyone who can access CloudAdvisor. Private saved searches are accessible only to the user who created the search.

2. Click the saved search that you want to modify.

   CloudAdvisor runs the search automatically.

3. Make the desired changes to the saved search.

   CloudAdvisor runs the search again. You can make changes to the saved search by adding or removing search terms or tags from the search bar or by selecting facets to filter the search output.

   The word "Edited" appears next to the saved search name to indicate that the search has changed but has not yet been saved.

4. Click the Saved Searches drop-down menu.

5. Click Save or Save As.
