Changing the Privacy Setting for a Saved Search

By default, CloudAdvisor saves searches as private. However, you can make saved searches public by selecting the "Share with everyone" option when saving the search. In addition, the Saved Searches drop-down menu enables you to change the privacy setting on any saved searches that you created.

To change the privacy setting of a saved search:

  1. If not already selected, expand the Saved Searches drop-down menu and run the search whose privacy setting you want to change.

    You can only change the privacy setting for the active search.

  2. Expand the Saved Searches drop-down menu. In the first column, look for the lock icon.

  3. Click Change next to the privacy setting.
  4. If you are making a global search private, confirm the action at the prompt.
