The Activity Timeline tile shows the number of update and read operations on a file, when these activities occurred, and how many different people updated or read the file.
Tile Information
| Content | Description |
|---|---|
| Activity legend | Indicates graphical color values for different file activities performed on the file (Updates or Reads) and the number of unique people involved in the activities. |
| Y-axis: Number of activities or unique people | Numerical scale used for both the number of activities performed on a file (indicated by colored bars associated to each activity) or the number of unique people who have performed activities on the file (indicated by a line graph). |
| X-axis: Time | Time over which the file has existed on this VM. |
| Activity bar graph | Colored bar graph showing the number of activities (Updates or Reads) performed on the file at any particular point in time. |
| Line graph | Graph showing the number of unique people who have performed activities on the file over time. |
Tile Actions and Behaviors
| Action | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Click a category in the legend | Filters the tile output by removing (or adding) categories. |
| Hover over any activity bar | Provides a pop-up view of the type and number of activities performed at the selected time. |
| Hover over the Unique People Involved line graph | Provides a pop-up view showing the number of unique people involved with the activities at the selected time. |
| Click the Expander in the top right corner of the tile | Opens the File Details view for the file. |
