CloudAdvisor System Alarms

CloudAdvisor provides the ability to view active system alarms by clicking the Alarms icon in the Global Access Panel.

System Alarms help you troubleshoot a particular problem or monitor the overall system. By default, the active alarms display in chronological order, with the most recent alarm appearing first. However, you can sort the information by clicking a column header. Depending on the column you choose, the information is displayed either by time created, by alarm status, by alarm type, or alphabetically by the information provided in the column (when selecting the ID or Message column). This view also enables you to filter the output by typing text into the search bar. The text you specify is matched against any of the information provided in any of the columns.

The following table provides information about each field in the System Alarms view.

Field Description
Search bar Enables you to perform a search on text within any field of the System Alarms output table.
Show Defines the number of alarms that appear in the output table per page.
Time Time at which the system alarm occurred (in the format yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss).
Status Indicates the current status of the alarm. In this release, the only status option is Active.
Type Type of system alarm.
ID LogID associated with the system alarm.
Message Information about components that are affected by the alarm.
